How does the PHOTTR app work?

What does the PHOTTR app do?

  • Centering & consistent dimensions

    The PHOTTR app aligns all products perfectly, whether they are shifted right, left, forward or backwards when shooting.

  • Background removal

    When shooting with the PHOTTR app, there's no need to worry about the environment around the product - the AI will automatically remove the background.

  • Realistic shadows

    The PHOTTR app generates shadows that take into account the shape of the product and the direction of its illumination. The choices are SOFT, HARD and FLOATING (or none).

  • Export photos

    Photos can be exported directly from the PHOTTR app to other systems - e-commerce platforms, cloud storage, DAM, PIM, ERP, FTP, etc.

  • Edges - padding

    To achieve a consistent photo look, the PHOTTR app always adds the same padding around products - just set it once and it'll be applied automatically.

  • Background

    You can set the background colour in the preferences or leave it transparent - this setting will be automatically applied to all photos taken.

  • Barcode scanning

    The PHOTTR app scans the barcode to automatically name and pair photos with products in your system.

  • Exposure Correction

    PHOTTR app offers convenient brightness adjustment. It is most often useful when shooting a light product on a dark background or a dark product on a light background.

  • Product Gallery

    In the PHOTTR app, all photos are not "in one pile", but are sorted into individual products by EAN code or manually entered product name.
